Joyful Hands Adults
These adult workshops are an opportunity for women to come together in a peaceful and supportive environment to pause, relax and then open in order to express themselves in beautiful and meaningful ways. Components of the workshops may include: opening and closing ceremony, simple art projects, selected readings, guided meditation, gentle yoga/movement, journaling, ritual and relaxation. Visit the Special Events link for any upcoming workshops or contact me if you have a group for which you would like us to create a Joyful Hands retreat.
Joyful Hands Kids
Joyful Hands Summer Art Camp for Kids is a hugely successful art experience that uses books, daily themes, multicultural perspectives and guided visualizations as a springboard for children's natural spontaneity and creativity. Varied art mediums are explored including, but not limited to, painting, sculpting, paper-making, print-making, mosaic, collage, etc.
Teen Studio Art Camp explores more complex and advanced techniques with the same thematic emphasis, group gatherings and ending relaxation as regular camp.

"I AM" CREATING A TORN PAPER COLLAGE
Come and explore who you are and create a torn paper collage. This is purely about process and expression - no art experience or talent needed. We will begin with a short journal exercise, and then proceed to guided visualizations in inquiring on deeper and deeper levels - who we are, what are gifts and abilities are, where our power lies, opening to our essence, our obstacles and our dreams. Next we will create a torn paper collage to express what we have discovered. We will end with tea and conversation.
4 Salem Street; Limited Space, First come, first serve.

was more painful
than the risk it took to blossom." -Anais Nin
