What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient hands-on healing technique that is natural and holistic. It is a simple system that transmits spiritually guided universal life force energy from the practitioner to the client. It restores, balances, harmonizes and invigorates the energies of the body, heart, mind and spirit thus promoting healing, and facilitating personal growth.

The word Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese word that means God Force or Universal Life Energy. This fundamental life force is around us and within us. It creates, sustains and nourishes all living things. The Reiki energy flows from Source through the practitioner into the clients body. Through it's intrinsic wisdom, it reaches all levels of existence - mental, emotional, physical and spiritual depending on where the healing needs to take place. Because of this, this powerful yet gentle gift, heals both cause and effect.

Reiki is not a religion nor do you need to embrace a particular belief for it to work. It supports and compliments other traditional medical and alternative healing techniques. This wonderful and limitless energy is available to all. It facilitates and accelerates our healing process.

I have used Reiki in a wide variety of circumstances - anxiety and stress reduction, migraine headaches, before and after surgeries, infertility, arthritis, asthma, helping people who are actively dying, chronic fatigue, back and neck pain, grief and other deep, emotional traumas, those undergoing cancer treatment, those making major life transitions, etc. The conditions and situations are limitless. It has been my experience, that many times Reiki has not only been beneficial but transforming.

What happens in a Reiki session?
Reiki sessions are held in a tranquil atmosphere with the gentle placing of hands on or above the clients body. Guidance is given to creating intention for the session. Dialogue, breathing techniques, guided meditation, visualization and relaxation techniques are used where needed. Children's sessions include age/child appropriate approaches such as yoga, art, literature, etc. Clients are asked to wear comfortable clothes.

People feel a deep sense of relaxation and well-being during and after the sessions. Some feel heat, or tingling, others see light or colors. Some have immediate relief from their symptoms or a release of emotions. Others simply feel reconnected and relaxed. Whether these things occur or not, the Reiki energy is always working. Because it works with both cause and effect, it's impact may be felt at a different time. Each person's experience is as unique as they are.

Monthly Reiki Share
A monthly gathering for Reiki I, II or Master practitioners. Please join us in the group sharing of this peaceful, healing energy in a mutually supportive environment. Connect with us as we set both group and individual intentions, ground deeply, ask questions, and share perceptions. The power of group healings and the gifts and insights each person brings, are a wonderful way to experience Reiki.

Reiki Retreat
An all day retreat to immerse in Reiki energy, give and receive Reiki, ask questions, share insights, review information, share in guided meditation and ritual. Join us in a supportive, nurturing group to deepen your Reiki experience and to answer questions along the way. Dates and times vary. Check calendar for any upcoming retreat dates.

Reiki I Training
I consider Reiki I the most important Reiki training as it is the groundwork for all that comes after. It is a wonderful vehicle for self-healing that you can share with others if you are so inclined.

Traditional Reiki I training entails:
history & philosophy of Reiki, an attunement, hand positions for self Reiki, hand positions for giving others Reiki, practice in giving Reiki to ourselves, practice in giving Reiki to others.

I also include:
Definition and discussion of healing and a healer, grounding and protection, information about chakras, a meditation to meet your Reiki master guide, my own personal prayers and many handouts including a booklist.

Cost: $300.00 for a 1-1/2 days of training

Reiki II Training
For those who have finished Reiki I training and want to deepen their understanding of Reiki of themselves and of the healing process.

This training increases your capacity to transmit energy, your awareness of Reiki and the uses of Reiki. It requires more focus. I recommend that you wait a minimum of 21 days before applying for Reiki II training after your Reiki I training although waiting a minimum of a 3 month period is preferable as it allows you to not only get to know the energy better but integrate the changes that its healing has created within you.

Reiki II training entails:
Learning the 3 Sanskrit symbols for physical healing, mental/emotional healing and distance healing, learning and practicing their power and use, practice sending distance healing, practice sending group healing, many handouts, and an attunement.

Cost:
If you have studied Reiki I with me the cost is: $275.00 for one day training (6/8 hrs.)
If you have studied Reiki I with someone else, the cost is: $300.00 as I go over the components from my Reiki I training that are not included in traditional Reiki studies and I give you my Reiki I handouts as well.

Reiki III - Master Training
Reiki III Master Training is for those working on becoming masters of themselves. They possess the courage and commitment to continue their own healing and embrace the Reiki principles and teachings into their life. I offer Reiki Master Training or Reiki Master Teacher Training.

Reiki Master Training is for continued and deepening spiritual growth and development. Reiki Master Teacher Training also encompasses how to teach Reiki.

Training will vary according to individuals and their choice of mastership but similar components will include:

• setting goals and creating a mission statement
• learning & using the master symbol
• receiving an attunement
• Reiki and chakra journaling exercises
• Reiki discussion & sharing of Reiki issues
• daily self-Reiki
• Reiki symbol exercises
• handouts
• apprenticeship component to observe and assist in my Reiki trainings and Reiki shares.

Each candidate needs to have been using Reiki II energy for a minimum of one year and will need to submit an application (contact me to request one) for consideration.

Master Training Cost: $700.00
Master Teacher Training: $1200.00
Payment can be made incrementally

Reiki Individual or Group Meeting
Group Mentoring:
Small group meetings that include meditation, discussion, sharing personal healing issues, and Reiki questions.

• Members of the group will choose the curriculum of the meetings.
  
• Meet once a month or every other week for 1-3 hours.
  
• Tailored to the group.

Cost: depends on time frame and number of participants.

Individual Mentoring:
Focus on individual issues that need healing. Suggestions and techniques given, journaling homework, Reiki questions answered, etc.

Cost: $90 for 1-1/2 hours

REIKI RETREAT Our shorter Reiki retreats are a wonderful sharing experience bu the day seems to go by too quickly. With that said, people requested a full day REiki retreat which we enjoyed so much last year. WTithis longer day scheduled, this retreat will be a chance to practice energy exercises, intuitive partnering as well as longer table treatments-many of the things we have practiced before but with plenty of time to do so. The day will also include a lunchtime discussion of outstanding Reiki questions. Join us in this healing, nurturing group as we come together to deepend our Reiki experience. Please bring your lunch.
